The Body and Mind Health Lines Project

The Body and Mind Health Lines Project was launched five years ago to assist places of worship with their health ministry. At the start of each month, we issue four unique health information pieces for distribution within each participating church. Each church incorporates the health handout into their Sunday service bulletin. The health content is presented in a creative and simple format. More than 400 churches have participated in this project and it has been and continues to be a great success.

How it works?
In the beginning of each month, four new health pieces will be delivered by email to a designated person within your organization for distribution. Just download the pdf formatted files and copy them as needed.

How to Sign up?
If you would like to receive Body and Mind Health Lines for your church sign-up by joining our Health Ministry group. It only takes a minute and it's free. Just click here and fill out the required fields. A Health News and Views staff person will contact you within 24 hours.

Please note that this online health news service will be available in the beginning of September 2009. If you have any questions or problems signing up with our Health Ministry group email us at: DrDeas@gmail.com.

What Churches are Saying about Body and Mind Health Lines

“Thank you for providing timely and very beneficial health information to my congregation and myself. It has contributed to the congregation becoming more aware of their health responsibilities. Keep it coming!”

Bishop Roderick R. Caesar, Senior Pastor

Bethel Gospel Tabernacle. New York

“Thank you for the Body and Mind Health Lines communications…as you know, the information is critical to helping our diverse community become aware of the unprofitable lifestyle habits that exacerbate poor health. The topics are presented in an easy-to-read and inviting format which engage people to read them.”

Reverend Patrick O-Connor

First Presbyterian Church in Jamaica, New York

“This missive comes from the heart of this church to express our gratitude to you for allowing us to be recipients of “Body and Mind Health Lines.” The information you provide has done much to enhance the knowledge of this congregation in terms of health issues. Personally, I learned about diabetics taking aspirin, something my medical doctor never advised. In addition, I learned about eating yogurt and how that aids my digestive track.”

Reverend Andrea M. Hargett

St. Matthew’s Community A.M.E. Church of Hollis, New York

“We at Grace United Methodist Church thank you for your monthly  Body and Mind Health Lines information packet containing four separate issues. The information received help us to educate the congregation at large on different ways in which they can enrich their lives.”

Cynthia Thompson, Administrative Assistant

Grace United Methodist Church, New York

“This missive comes to thank you for your monthly health literature distributed to our church. We have been tremendously blessed and healthier since receiving your information.”

Rev. Robert R. Lowe, Senior Pastor

Mount Moriah AME Church, New York

“The members of Trinity Lutheran Church would like to thank you for the informative “Body and Mind Health Lines” newsletters that we have received. Each Sunday a copy of Health Lines has been placed in our Church bulletin, providing additional “food for thought.”

Laurel Quainoo, Secretary

Trinity Lutheran Church of St. Albans, New York

I would like to thank you for your informative health letter, which has provided essential health tips and advice to our congregation.”

The Reverend Charles L. Norris Sr.
